Interference by Jinn: In Western culture, the Jinn or Genie is often portrayed as a friendly, wish-granting spirit living inside an old lamp. However, in Islamic tradition, Jinn are conscious beings capable of both good and evil. Encounters with malevolent Jinn can result in spiritual and personal harm.
They have free will—just like humans—so they can choose to be good or evil, believers or disbelievers. When a Jinn interacts with a person, its effects can vary widely depending on its nature and intent. Jinn can influence a person through admiration, love, or affection, or when someone unintentionally harms them. However, in most cases, they are captured by magicians and enslaved to inflict harm and distress upon their victims.
